“An extraordinary look at boxing” in partnership with the “Elan Sportif" association

Fascinated by human behaviour, and having studied anthropology and photojournalism, Benjamin Barda travels to meet different people and marginalised groups, always with the same focus: to contextualise individual differences in order to reveal authenticity. The “Poing levé” exhibition shows how boxing is gradually changing the daily lives of troubled young people (underperforming at school, spending time in prison, family problems, drugs) in the town of Mulhouse. His collection of insightful photos portray these young people, the obstacles they face and their aspirations, so that we see they're not so different after all. This exhibition is exclusive to our show.
